Watermelon Jello for Diabetics
Watermelon
is typically a summertime favorite. Although you may want to dish some of the
sweet treat up at every meal, or make it your go-to summer snack. If you have
diabetes, you know how important it is to watch what you eat and monitor your
blood sugar levels. Watermelon is loaded with natural sugars. Depending on your
overall diet, this may have a positive impact on your blood sugar level.

Lets see the
fruits and ingredients used to prepare a diabetes friendly watermelon jello:
Watermelon,
Papaya,
pineapple,
grapes,
avocado,
apples,
bananas and
2-3
teaspoons of basil seeds.
Take one
large watermelon and cut top portion of it has shown in video, extract the
juicy flesh completely from inside the watermelon to make empty rind.
Now put the
watermelon flesh pieces aside and cut the papaya into pieces. Papaya is very
rich in vitamin C, magnesium and potassium. Pineapple also contains manganese
which helps diabetic nerve system in the brain. More over it is an excellent natural
sugar which produces essential glucose.

can be a healthy choice for people with diabetes. This fruit contain vitamins,
minerals, and fiber that can be more beneficial to your diet.
Grapes:
The fiber in
grapes fills you up faster and helps to keep your blood sugar levels in check. A
study found that eating whole fruits especially blueberries, grapes
significantly reduces the risk for type 2 diabetes

After taking
the ingredients into separate bowls, juice the watermelon flesh to make fine
juice.
Now take
this juice into a pan and start boiling, after reaching into boiling point add
2-3 tbsp of artificial jelly powder and 1 tbsp of basil seeds to it and stir
well.
Take this
boiled mixture into watermelon rind and add sliced bananas and apples to it and
leave for few minutes. Meanwhile prepare orange color jelly by adding
artificial color and jelly powder in boiling water. Pour this mixture as a
second layer with remaining fruits to the watermelon.
Now prepare
green basil water by adding artificial green color and basil seeds to boiling
water. Pour this boiling water as a third layer of watermelon and add all
remaining fruits by adjusting empty spaces.
Now close
the watermelon top and place it in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours.
Finally take
the watermelon out and cut into required amount pieces.
